Need Some Feedback

So, here's the deal...

I've been reading some of the supplements that were produced for Birthright. Almost all of the Awnsheghlien are rulers in and of themselves. So here's the thing. Some of our players (Notably Po) are evil, or contemplating evil. Should becoming an Awnsheghlien mean retirement of character to NPC status or should we allow the player to continue to play that newly minted Awnsheghlien?

Personally, I don't care one way or another. There is the potential that they could go on a rampage of Blood Theft and greatly increase their power over the other PCs. There are ways to combat this though, both in rules and in fluff. I leave it to you people.

  1. Personally, considering the fact we are playing a long game... it is important for players to realize the potential of their characters.

If this means they become pure dark nasty evil... that is how they wanted it. No sense punishing them for some creative playing.

Of course considering I would most likely have to face those nasties... it will suck, but those are the breaks.

  2. From Adam-

I think it would be interesting to see what players would do when they turn 'truly evil', since there are a lot of things they are now free to do. I think they should keep the characters.
